Spanish Valentine's Day Crossword, Song, Picture IDs & Card Vocabulary -
Students complete the puzzle, write a Spanish vocabulary word next to each clue and under each of the 7 clip art images. All puzzle words are included on the vocabulary page.
Included:
1. 17 clue Spanish Valentine's Day crossword with words and phrases such as "I love you", "you're mine", "kiss me", "hug me", "you're my princess" and more!
2. Bilingual Spanish/English vocabulary page with 18 words and phrases. This vocabulary can also be used to make Spanish Valentine cards.
3. Short Valentine's song sung to a well known tune.
Each booklet contains 16 pages: the title page with 15 additional pages. Also included are suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page.
Students first cut, assemble and read the booklet that contains text and illustrations of words associated with the Super Bowl such as ball, team, coaches, referee, cheerleaders, stadium, etc. They then sketch and create their own version using the text only template.
The illustration version can be projected in class to present, review and practice pronunciation of the vocabulary words. The text only version can be projected onto the Smart Board and students can draw pictures on the Smart Board that correspond to the text.

This puzzle activity is a good substitute lesson plan. When the puzzle is complete, students can work with partners to quiz each other on the vocabulary from the word list.

Adjectives Mirror Sketch Activity in English - Students sketch their self portraits in one mirror and then write adjectives used to describe themselves in the other. Uses and ideas for this activity: 1. This is a great practice activity when descriptive adjectives are introduced. 2. Use as a back to school review of descriptive adjectives. 3.
